The kickoff night of Rabbit Revolution's art event series, RR:A01 NeoTokyo, was an experiment that blurred the lines between nightlife event and art gallery opening.
Damien and the Rabbit Revolution team worked to transform the space to create an ephemeral experience for one night only. From the custom-built, crow's nest style DJ booth to the projection-mapped visuals, the team terraformed the space with sights and sounds into something out of this world.
For this event, Damien created a light art series called "No Dance" highlighting the challenges dance music faces around the world from prohibition of dance spaces, to the loss of venues through gentrification. The exhibit also inspired a line of sold-out Rabbit Revolution merchandise.
