The Black Hole

Rabbit Revolution joined forces with promoters Flight 617 to create a series of events exploring the darker reaches of electronic music. Drawing heavily on sci-fi themes, the events showcased experimental music in an immersive space-themed atmosphere.

I led the team in developing thematic decor to transform The Lower Level venue in Cambridge, Massachusetts into the bridge of a deep-space exploration vessel. Mapped LEDs powered the custom-fabricated control consoles and warp core, while live visuals and intelligent lighting set the atmosphere. Creative costuming and improv performances from the team helped bring attendees along for the ride.
