Spicy Hunan Kitchen

This project transformed an ordinary hallway into a permanent architectural light art installation for the grand opening of a new Chinese restaurant in the center of Woburn, Massachusetts.

The multi-disciplinary team was led by Worcester-based artist Aaron Fractal, who brought me on for my pixel mapping expertise to help bring the project to completion. I created a 3-dimensional, multi-layer map of the 32,000+ LEDs in the installation, giving viewers an illusion of depth. I designed the show in Enttec LED Mapper to run from open to close, with patterns cycling every few minutes throughout the day creating unique visuals moods for the space.
