Shenron

A private client commissioned Rabbit Revolution to create a one-of-a-kind, projection-mapped sculpture inspired by Dragon Ball Z.

In a one-month sprint, I led the Rabbit Revolution team from concept to completion. Starting with a 3D model, I developed cutting templates for each unique piece of the sculpture. We fabricated and assembled the components and mounted the 7-foot tall sculpture in its final location. I then brought the dragon god to life through projection mapping using HeavyM and Resolume software, individually mapping all 145 unique shapes to allow for a high degree of visual customization.

The project was featured by the makers of HeavyM on their blog, in their software demo reel, and on their social media profiles.
