The Technocube

The Technocube was a featured exhibition at the 2016 Boston Future Arts Festival, the City of Quincy's Summer Pop-Up Art Gallery, and at many Rabbit Revolution nightlife events across the Northeast.

I designed the Technocube as a symbolic manifestation of the energy on the dance floor. The sculpture stands two-foot by two-foot, perched on one corner atop a triangular pedestal. I first 3D modeled the design and then fabricated it using a CNC router. The interior is lined with LED lights that react to sound, pulsating with color to the beat of the music. The Technocube can also be controlled via DMX to enable it to work as a component of larger light shows at events.
